Web Site Development

Web sites are often used by organizations to communicate messages, share information, and interact with others online. University Web Services (UWS) can help your organization by:

  • Ensuring that your content is organized and written for the Web,
  • Giving your web site visual appeal and appropriate University branding, and
  • Adding interactive elements and applications to bring organizational business processes to the Web.

Getting Started

Please complete a Web Service Request Form. This form will provide UWS with the basic information to help start your project. The typical UWS project process is as follows:

  • Client completes a project request form
  • UWS contacts clients within three business days
  • Client and UWS hold an initial project meeting to ensure UWS has all the details of the project
  • UWS offers a project proposal for the project, which the client approves prior to development work
  • UWS works through the development of the project, communicating with the client throughout the process

Contact

E-mail UWS at uws@gwu.edu with your Web development requests, and UWS will contact you within three business days.
